Future Star VS Future Life

Yesterday we have been invited to watch hubby's nephew, Teemu's football tournament in Kerava. It is about 13km from our home. Since the weather started to get warmer, about 5c-7c last week; I decided to wear a short jeans skirt+black long john+boots+blue jackets that I have been wanting to wear since I was here in February. So 3 tops and 2 bottoms with a slight make up, we were ready to watch the kid's big game.

When we reached there, I saw Jarno's new toy - A big white van van is proudly stand in between all the small cars in the car park. He bought the van in last month after we bought over his Toyota Avensis. Part of the reason he bought this van is because Teemu will be having a lot of trainings and games in outdoor and is convenient for him to change. What a thoughtful father! Besides, they have been very supportive to Teemu's game, even wake up at 5am for him.
Our location in GPS

Later we found that the tournament is actual held at outdoor. Shit! I thought it is indoor because the last game
that he had was at indoor. Now I have very thin layers to stand in the cold. Everybody on the field seems to be well wrapped up except me. I was a bit embarrassed when I met with Jarno and Mari with my inappropriate clothes for this occasion. However, I was 'brave' enough (or thick face?) to tell Jarno that : It's ok, I want to get use of cold weather when he asked me don't I feel cold?
Supportive mum & dad, Mari & Jarno.
I salute to you!

Alright back to the game, Teemu first having warm up while waiting for the competition time at 3pm. I always envy this sporty boy. He is only 9 this year and has already so interested and actively in playing football, ski, jogging and even treasure hunting. Let's me show you our future David Beckham skillful yet stylish kick.
Handsome boy is a bit shy :">

"Full Concentration"

Here We Go!
"Hey!"

Half an hour standing on the field, it is freeeeeeeeeezing! I knodded my head flashly quick when hubby suggest to buy some sausage and bread to eat. Oh my gosh! 1 sausage+2 sandwiches (with ham and vege)+1 banana+1 drink only 3e? Hubby said they are like wanting to clear the 'stock'. What a good deal, and it was delicious!

3pm and the game started. The boys are playing so hard and looking so pro. I'm not really know about football but it is enjoyable to watch the game. Best of it, our team won with 2-0, hurray!!!

Come On! Teemu! Teemu! Teemu!
"Watch my left foot!"
And the girl in black was the referee. Wow! Impressive!

Let's see who run faster?

Sorry mate, this is no friendly match. The ball is mine!

Yes, No. 10 is me!!!

I would die to get his jersey and autograph on it. The value will sure goes up sky high after a few years :)

We are so proud of you!!!

What a happy ending. Our next programmer is for me to practice to drive to hubby office because he has a meeting, sauna, eating & drinking (and of course no other than beer. Grrrr!!!!) in this Thursday in office and I will have to fetch him to work and home. The road seems to be quite easy, with him next to me. I'm not sure how well I can drive alone to home on that day. After all, it is challenging for me to switch to left-hand drive and different road system and I can't read that's the worst >_<"! Hopefully I can remember the road signage when back home alone.

Hush Puppies, fulfill dog lover's dream...
Will it help us to live in the West End?

Since we were already here in Espoo, he decided to take me to the West End, one of the richest residential area in Finland and it is next to the sea. Houses are huge and cars are posh. One Audi we saw looks brand new, what a place in earth! Is all the money has been gathered here or what? Alright, it was just my jealousy :P. Ok one day I will live here! (and the radio suddenly play the song "Dream~~~dream, dream,dream...) Hubby suggested me to take photo next to the frozen sea. Yes, it was totally frozen and so freezing!!! I stood at the beach for 3 minutes and body already start shiverring~~~~ I surrender and run back into the car without taking any photo. My clothes are too thin man, too bad! However hubby managed to snapped a few nice shot before we ended our sunday outting. And he ran back into the car too, of course :)

My first no sunny no sandy beach. Feeling so blue~~

So frozen, so freeeeeeezing....

We have ended the car outting, now starting the leg outting. It's jogging day! We have planned to go jogging for long but timing was not right. Yesterday was a perfect for jogging. I wear 1 layer of cotton long sleeves plus a cotton blue jacket and 1 long john plus cotton running pent. And never forget the pipo (hat) and gloves to protect ears and hands from freezing. My heart was a bit resistant to jogging. I'm just afraid that short breath feeling. But I can't hide myself forever, I have to meet my fear factor and I have promised hubby to make jogging a habbit to us.

We first started with 5 mins warm-up walk, follow by the slow jog. Target 10 mins jog with 130 pulses heart beat. Suprisingly, I didn't actually feel very tired through the whole jogging time. I wonder if it was the weather or my swimming stamina that I had back 2 weeks ago (I went to swim 5 times a week until my skin was dehydrated. What to do? I'm too bored at home). It was good, I feel refreshed. We targeted to go jogging at least 3 times a week to gain a good health and to reduce hubby's beer belly :)

Later the night, we enjoyed a candle lights spicy chicken wings and rice dinner. What a day!

Spring In The Air, Kevättä Ilmassa

It is always the beautiful scene in movie during spring time, where everything come alive. Today, was my first happy spring day.

My day start with meeting my parents-in-law, Mutsi & Patu (means mum & dad in Finnish local slang) in Ikea. Initial plan was to buy cooking utensils rack for drawer but unfortunately, non of it suite to my kitchen drawer's size. However, I still manage to get S-hooks and container to 'enlighten' my dear kitchen :)

After we had lunch in Hesburger, we proceed to Plantegen, a plants hypermarket (in fact most of the concept stores are very huge in Finland). I shall say that, this is a very lovely place to
browse because they have tans of flowers & plants that cheer
me up. No women will hate flower, i believed. Mutsi seems to be
very happy here, she grabbed quite a lot of plants while Patu has
decided to wait at the corner near to entrance after a tour in here. As for me, I've bought a lovely rose and 2 vases, as well as 'little green house' to plant flower from seeds. For the pass 2 weeks my baby China Aster & Pot Marigold were born and die and only a few is still surviving. That's is why Mutsi came today, to rescue my poor little 'baby'.

I will never give up until I get a blossom house

In fact, I'm not the lousy at all. I managed to grow the Rairuoho grass (Ryegrass in english) for Easter Day celebration (but hubby doens't know exactly when is it, ha!). This is one of the Christian culture in Finland (I don't know about other countries). And no wonder there are many chicken toys selling in supermarket because they use chicken or chicks to decorate around the grass but hubby can't tell the reason why chicken and not Aku Ankan, the Donald Duck that has a significant position here in Finland. But but but seriously, why chicken?

Mutsi is a lovely mum, she is patient and talented. Though she try to explain in Finnish which I don't understand at all, I'm always enjoy to have her around :) Chicken & duck always get along very well (means we speak differently and can't understand each others). Besides, she bought us Narcissus (Narsissi in Fin.) from Plantagen, also brought baby flower that she planted at home, and I love them.(Left) Narcissus (Narsissi), The sign of Spring.
(Centre) Thunbergia Alata (
Mustasilmäsusanna), commonly called Black-eyed Susan vine &

Me & hubby always wanted to have green and flowers in the house. The joining of new members have inspired me to decorate the window corner in living room and kitchen and, not bad...

Living room window corner.
Picture retook on 05/04 and the Narcissus flowers already can't wait to be in the picture.
My hubby bought the Buddha statue months after we've met in July 2006 just because I'm a Buddist.
How sweet :)

Picture took on same day we bought the Narcissus and there was no flower yet

Exotic aroma stick bought from erotic porn store. Hehehe...

Elegant pink ladies hubby chose from Plantagen today.
Too bad didn't check the name of the flower

Our very first green from Ikea, bought few weeks after I settled here.
And it is proudly stand in living room watching the fellows that stay at the window rack

MY KITCHEN - MIX OF BALI, ENGLISH ROSE & THE RETRO

My kitchen cabinet is the typical Scandinavian design, white in color. I was wondering if the table mat could match the whole look and I always suffer from the total matching concept. From the cabinet, to the lamp to the table and to everything. That's is why until now I can't decide a new lamp for kitchen. I'm not rigid, just because I'm not so good in designing and have to be very careful not to waste the money. But maybe I have to learn to be a bit flexible of the mix & match and, it turn out to be like this..... You judge.

I really love the table mat. We got it from The Jonker street, Melaka Malaysia on Oct 2008

Speechless......

Cushion from Ikea today. To please our eyes and ass

Oh lovely polka...

Love love love ribbon like a little girl. And it takes me many minutes to tie & tie & tie & PERFECTLY SWEET! :>

When I want more than the dots...

At the end of the night, me and hubby both can't help and sing the song 'Green~~~ green! green! green!' Adapted from a song that start with 'dream~~dream! dream! dream!' but we don't know the name.

Congratulations And Celebrations!

Ha! That was hubby's response when I shown him my identity letter from the govt. It finally arrived!!! We are so happy! It means I'm now officially join the society and no need to suffer hard to my 'Bourne Identity' ;) Soon I'm going to get the KELA card, a social health care card by Finland govt as well as to open a bank account to get money from wall, hehehe.

Besides, I had set a yearly goals for myself and us yesterday. I'm so glad that my first mission - To study at least 10 Finnish vocabularies a day and it has been progress very well today. I've learned 18 words for animals. I feel so motivated every since Monday and my brilliant hubby found me a great language software by Byki, from www.transparent.com and it is FREE!!! It is an excellent software for a beginner that I have to go through many practice to make sure I memorized the word even for spelling. Oh I just love and appreciate this software so much! I hope I'll keep my motivation up and have a good learning progress everyday.

Further today, we visited Jaakko's house as he invited us to watch The IT Crowd together. Poor Jaakko caught some cold since one week ago and his voice became a bit rough. However, I found that is clearer and louder to listen to his strong RRRRRR English speaking than usual. I'm somehow wish that his voice could be maintain :P (Oh! That is too evil of me!) Well, I'm really glad that Jaakko invited us because he is a very quiet guy and still, get along very well with hubby and me, too (as he doesn't talk, so no argument, no fights :)). Plus, the movie is so hilarious that helps to added many fine lines on my face. Kanasai!

So, April fool, is not so fool but very full for me; this year!

What A Wonderful Day - Triple Happiness

10am and my phone rang. It was my hubby call to inform me that my PR application is processed and can be collect from Immigration office. However, no status of approval was reveal in the phone :( Anyway, I'm excited because the long waited day has finally come! I am already bored and die without can do anything prior to know the application status (regardless of today's result, of course).

Alright, get my lazy bug body out of the lovely bed and meet the first issue of the day, I've got no money!!! Dig, seek, pick and luckily, there's 5.60e in the house. Not bad because I only need 5e for a bus return ticket, else I can walk to home ;) (only 5km for a boring housewife. Call me crazy? Not if you would bored to die :P ) Almost ready, just need to fill up my stomach with milk and cookies before 'kissing' with my long stayed winter 'friend'.

11.15am and there I was, in the immigration office. With 15 numbers ahead me, I sat on a long comfortable leather bench (with a beautiful mood, of course it is very comfortable :) ) and watch the 'Monday TV Program for Housewife' - poison advertisement. A programmed advertisement that sell from house appliances to cosmetic to bla bla bla.... and they talk and talk bla bla bla to poison those boring and decent housewife like me and I did somehow get attracted :P However and luckily I'm alway concious enough to find the information from internet especially the forum before convince my hard working hubby to buy for me :). I think this program is very smart to choose Monday to hard-sell their product because housewife is very much moody and down that their husband left to work, consiquences from the happily ever after Sunday.

.......1 hour waiting is pretty long and sleepy and finally is my turn. Hahaha!!! Aplause to Finland Govt, my PR was approved since 15/03/2009! :D 5 mins with the officer (and she told me she always do mistakes on Monday, I think she's bored because she told me this hehehe, and we both laugh). Next I walked with happy feets to Finland Mistrati which is just 100m away to get my Social Identity No. Hmmm hmmm hmmm, need to fill in some form and I was so worry if I need to pay some money. Huh, luckily not neccesary and now I just need to wait for 1 week to receive my ID no. by post.

Back to street and walked to neareast bus station. I ran to catch the green traffic light and then I realized I need to run run run because the bus is coming!!! Oh gosh! Thanks to the cute driver that wait for me :)

Can't wait, can't wait.... have to call my dear hubby to tell him the good news. Then I receive the second happiness of the day, my new phone service is activated! Though this is no big deal but it is a good deal for us because we can save money for a better phone package :) I was first told my hubby the application is delayed and have to wait for another 2 weeks to process and he usual reaction is : Oh Shit! Oh Shit! 5 seconds and I told him the good news and we decided to have a nice dinner outside tonight for celebration (before that we were so worry that it will be rejected).

Back to our home sweet home, there was 8 dogs waiting for me at door step! Haha! It is the movie 'Eight Below' that hubby ordered online. I am so happy because this is one of my favourite dog movie!

Although all these are small things but this is what me and hubby is aiming for, some simple stuff and can very happy too. After all, life is short. Cheers!

p.s. thanks to my hubby who always remember to give me a warm and lovely hug whenever I'm upset. Like last Friday, I was really upset that he forget to call the Immigration to check the status (because it close at 11am on Friday). I throw his mail paper to him and he throw them to the floor. He was upset too. And when I calm down and feel bad and want to apologize, he just come to hug me from behind. Oh so sweet! Thanks for keeping your promise honey (he promised to hug me whenever I'm upset and he did all the time) :)

Here I Am....

Started the first blog in my life at 29/03/2009 1.52am. Wanted to write something down but clueless and there's always a say: First step is better than non. Well maybe just myself first...

MERELY ME

A typical Scorpio at teen and now gradually learn to be a tame one at the dramatic aging stage. Yes I felt very much older and slower at the late second decade, towards the third. Older in term of mind; never mind, fever fight (for right, just; let it be), lesser stay late night. Slower as in make up my mind (need to scan through million of consequences before hand), response to fight (should I fight?), more facial cream before the night; and else.

To start a new life at coming decade is not easy. Luckily my keen to learn has a strong anti-oxygen to carry me on although, it is tougher and slower to keep new things in my mind. Language, cooking, gardening, housekeeping whatever that is deal with the housewives, I am in. And now what I am doing everyday is research+research+research.

Cooking is interesting with 50% of risk, whether love it or hate it (the food). Especially hubby is a picky type, no onion family, no 'room room room' fungus, no seafood (luckily fishes can stay),
keep the soups to myself and many Nos is yet to be discover. But as long as he doesn't mind I eat whatever I want, I'm fine. Basically I eat almost everything except human (eow!). And what do you think a housewife expectation everyday? To pray that husband love the food! So long as he is happy, I am happy (Oh where am I? Pathetic!).

Gardening, are you kidding me!? I could never do that in Malaysia. Why? Busy and stressful life. Because we need to work hard to push our country level's up from 'A Developed Country'. And plants in Malaysia always like to make friend with mosquitoes and share their friendship to us - the fatal dengue decease! Most of all, that is the job for boring, traditional & lots of time housewives. I always think I will be a modern working wife and I only want to have a beautiful garden by myself when I am success and have a lot of money and free time. Further more, I didn't have free time to take care of the extra others as it was already hard to take care of myself and my pockets.

However, all those humiliation thoughts (sorry, housewives!) were wrong. That's is why I always believed in karma, what you did or said will eventually happened back to you. Because here I am now, have a lot of free time to do it and I love it! I love to learn the how, when, what, which of the plants and their characteristics. I am so happy to see them grow, feel like I am doing a good mother job and so proud :) I will continue do this even if I have to go to work in future.

Many excel sheets are well keeping my new hobbies' studies. Let's see how many sheets will be created throughout my life :)
